The Terrace is looking for an enthusiastic and curious Junior Designer for 16 hours per week. Within our dynamic and passionate team, you’ll be given the opportunity to work on interesting projects and creative campaigns.

Job description

  • Think along with and design for sustainability, marketing and advertising campaigns for our clients
  • Support the for web design, social media design and design for offline channels
  • Support the design of (client) presentations
  • Develop and design house styles
  • Support the maintenance of our website
  • Support PR and communication activities (offline & online)
  • Designing, drafting and sending newsletters


  • Relevant background in (Graphic) Design
  • 6-12 months similar work experience
  • Proven interest in sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Creative, flexible, result-oriented & a proactive mentality
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, MailChimp and Wordpress

  • A contract for 16 hours per week for 6 months, with a possibility of extension
